One of my favorite new products over at A. Tierney is the:

First came Tory Burch, now comes A. Tierney! If you like the sophisticated, chic style of the graphic geometric prints that have been hitting the runway then you'll love this travel toiletries bag!

The tote is available in three luscious colors: pink, blue, and apple green. It is perfect for packing your toiletries, shampoo bottles, etc. when you are traveling, and the interior is lined with plastic, making it easy to clean in case there are any spills. The inside of the case is divided into two large-size pockets and two medium-size pockets, and there is a handy large pocket on the backside of the tote as well. Best of all, you can personalize it for just $10. Additionally, A. Tierney makes matching jewelry bags and smaller make-up bags, if you wish to complete a matching set. Check them out at A. Tierney today!

Thank You, Pink Martini!

Thank you to the Pink Martini for giving me this special award! It means a lot to me to have readers who are this caring and sweet. I'm so happy to have met you and my fellow bloggers, and I hope you're having a lovely summer out in Southern California!

I have such fond memories of Laguna Beach and Balboa Island from when I visited a few years ago - my first and only time in California!! I fell in love with the beautiful weather, combination of mountains and sea side-by-side, and the delightful atmosphere of boutiques, boats, and creative cuisine. Hopefully it was my first visit of many to come!

Kate Spade Summer Fun

Doesn't this little clip just perfectly capture the essence of impromptu summer get-togethers?

I love that the designers at Kate Spade are expanding more into the apparel category.

These are a few of my new favorites:

Lilly Pulitzer: Harkening Back to the Original Juice Stand

I just had the most fabulous online grocery experience of my life - well, that is ever since Balducci's closed last week! Last week when the Foxhall branch of Balducci's had their last day of business, my best friend and I went shopping at the closing hour and bargained for all their remaining wine...and their last 7 lbs of shrimp!! As sad as I was to see them close their doors in D.C., it was a fun little shopping trip. However, this experience was topped this afternoon when into my inbox popped an announcement about the most stylish carton of orange juice I've ever set eyes on - Lilly Florida's Natural! I usually don't buy orange juice at the grocery store, but who could resist a Lilly Pulitzer to brighten the refrigerator. The best part of all is that the proceeds will benefit breast cancer research. Soon to be rolled out at a grocery store near you!

Summer Update

Hello Bloggers,
It has been far too long since I posted, but it has been a very busy past couple of weeks! I hope you all had a lovely Fourth of July. I spent the holiday weekend as I usually do in Gun Lake, Michigan, where every year we have a special reunion. We have the best time, and I feel so fortunate to get to spend time with my wonderful cousins, aunts, uncles, and little second-cousins! This year there were more of us than ever before, thanks to a blessed addition of a new baby girl to our family - Sailor Lee Buller. She joined us for her first summer on the lake. That makes twenty-three of us! We had a smashing time complete with all our traditions - setting off fireworks over the lake, catching fireflies and fishing, campfires with guitar singing and smores, wakeboarding and jetskiing, and plenty of good old "dock time." Unfortunately, on our last evening during a good-natured game of Capture the Flag, my mom accidentally hit a flag pole in the front yard and got a horrible gash to her head. It was very scary because the cut was quite deep. After spending the night in the emergency room, she has been recovering with stitches and pain medication. So between all this family excitement - both great and a bit dire - I've been away from posting. Looking forward to catching up with you all!

Thanks Whitney Caroline!

Thank you, Whitney, for sending me the oh-so-soft and luxurious navy beach towel with my pink monogram! I absolutely love it and will enjoy using it this summer at the beach and even sunning on my patio in the Washington backyard. Your towels are wonderful!
