Pink Swap with Pink Tutu

Thank you to The Pink Tutu for the wonderful swap package! Pink Tutu and I were paired up for Monograms and Manicures' 2nd Annual Pink Swap, and it was such fun to swap pink presents with each other. Here are a few pictures of the delightful package that arrived on my snowy doorstoop all the way from sunny Celebration, Florida. I loved every item, from the Lilly Pulitzer napkins and pink polka dot magnetic frame to the Lilly party goody bags (I sent one to Pink Tutu too, great minds think alike!!). Thank you for everything, Pink Tutu! I hope to visit Celebration, FL someday where I'm sure your neighborhood and house is as adorable as your taste in pink!

Kicking off 2010!

Happy 2010! December was a hiatus from my blog due to the hustle and bustle of the holiday season and a death in my family, but now I am kicking off the New Year with an optimistic nod to travel for the coming year.

Washington, DC saw a beautiful white Christmas for the first time in years, and I'm on my way back now through feathery white snowflakes after spending a magical New Year's Eve in New York City. Despite the beauty of the snow, I must admit I'm pining for a warm beach somewhere, especially after seeing the fabulous Lilly Pulitzer and others' prints for resortwear this season.

I'm dreaming of an escape to Florida's legendary Pink Palace! The Don Caesar Loews hotel, located in St. Petersburg, FL would be the perfect spot to stay and enjoy the ocean for a spring getaway.
