Vineyard Vines for Fall

Vineyard Vines has come out with in their Fall Collection. The wedding I attended in Cape Cod had the men wearing matching VV ties with blue petite Cape Cod islands, which looked gorgeous next to the bridesmaids' blue dresses and fresh bouquets of hydrangeas. I've always loved their formal wear, and it seems their Fall line is taking a more sophisticated spin now as well. Many of the ladies dresses are wearable for work, I think!

Cape Cod

I spent the weekend in Cape Cod with my family for a friend's wedding. It was my first time to the Cape, and it definitely charmed me. Perfect weather accompanied the whole weekend. The wedding was in the town of Wellfleet, with a reception at the beautiful Captain Linnell House in Orleans followed by stargazing and s'mores at Skaket Beach. On Sunday morning we had enjoyed a casual brunch at the Chequessett Yacht Club. I'm so happy for the beautiful bride and her new husband. The wedding reminded me of Father of the Bride, it was that beautiful. Another time I would love to come back to the Cape because there is the Walpole Woodworkers and Chatham Sign Shop, which I didn't have time to visit.

Macbeth Collection Sale

The Macbeth Collection is now offering some fantastic products at a special summer discount. I love this shop for its unique graphic patterns and unique creativity. Most items can be customized and monogrammed completely according to personal preference, providing a special accent piece for your home. I love the 101 Ideas page - a list of sweet nothings to be stored in their containers, everything from "scotch tape and glue sticks" to "fresh flowers" or "a jar of blackberry jam." Their motto: Beauty is in the eye of the beholder....we can help with the holder.

Kate Spade's New Site

Kate Spade redesigned its website! The splashing orange that pops up now is very peppy, but it took me by surprise. To forgo the signature KS green is taking quite a departure! I wonder if they will be changing the background orange color seasonally, or if orange is here to stay. I must say, I don't believe orange was ever going to be the new pink.....
