I was recently contacted by Kate of Katydid Designs who has a line of grosgrain ribbon bags, belts and accessories that is very preppy and cheerful. She is inviting my readers to an upcoming trunk show that she is participating in this coming weekend in August. The DC DAR fashion show, luncheon and shopping event will be held on Saturday, August 15th. She is graciously extending a discount of $15 off any purchase of $20 or moreto all my readers who attend. I got an invitation through my DAR chapter, and would love to go, but I have family in town. It looks like a fantastic day planned. Have fun! And I'm really disappointed I won't be able to meet you this time.
