I spent the weekend after Thanksgiving up in NYC, where I had a fabulous time thanks to the glorious sunny weather and Christmas cheer that is starting to spread throughout the city! Macy’s had their Christmas windows done up in all their splendor, and Rockefeller Center just got the most beautiful perfect Christmas tree. I spent most of the weekend walking in Central Park because the weather was so lovely, but Sat night the reason I was in the city was for the famous Cornell Thanksgiving Hockey Game at Madison Square Garden. We had a Class of 2009 Pregame event at Blarney Stone, followed by an exciting game - the Big Red gave Boston University a big scare at the Red Hot Hockey game at Madison Square Garden. In the end, it was Cornell vs. BU 3-3. As my first fall away from Cornell, it was very fun to catch up with all my friends who I hadn’t seen since graduation. My friend introduced me to an adorable little cafĂ© on the upper east side between Park and Fifth called Gina La Fornarina, which was all white and pink with splendid pink Christmas balls hanging all over the place. Great drinks and food, you must sure to stop the next time you are in the city. Some pictures from the weekend:

Looks like y'all had so much fun at the game!
just came across your blog. Good stuff!
Thanks for the restaurant suggestion! I will be in NYC next weekend and their menu looks great!
Hello I like to watch Hockey Games and gets better if it is in a big coliseum like the Madison Square, if I get a chance to hook up there I got generic viagra to help me to keep the passion and desire in that good moment.
